Rajinder graduated with a B.A. (Hons) degree in History specialising in International Relations from the University of Malaya in 1978. He also has a Certificate in International Management presented by INSEAD for the PETRONAS Senior Management Development Programme in 1999.

In his 35 years in PETRONAS, he gained valuable insight and experience. His extensive hands-on in-depth knowledge of the workings of a National Oil Company from its formative and growth years of a NOC make him uniquely able to guide NOCs in formulating policies and strategies in establishing and growing an NOC.
PETRONAS Marketing and Trading
As principal Advisor of the PETRONAS Marketing and Trading Teaching Group for all PETRONAS Marketing and Trading personnel. He lectured on the Marketing and Trading Practices module in the PETRONAS inhouse Managers Development Programme.
